Breast Augmentation or Breast Enlargement

Breast augmentation is a cosmetic procedure designed to give women larger and shapelier breasts. Not only can this result in an improvement in the patient's overall appearance, but also it can give the patient a higher level of self-esteem. Breast augmentation is performed on women who feel their breast size is too small, or to correct a reduction in breast volume after pregnancy, to balance a difference in breast size, or as a reconstructive technique following breast surgery. During the procedure, an incision is made either in the crease below the breast, around the areola, or under the armpit. An implant is then placed either under the chest muscle or directly behind the breast tissue. Where the implant and incision will be made depends upon the patient's current body and breast shape.

Liposuction

Liposuction removes unwanted fat deposits from specific areas of a person's body, face or neck. This procedure is not a substitute for dieting and exercise, but it can remove fat deposits that do not respond to diet and exercise. Liposuction can help reduce bulging areas of the body. This results in a slimmer and more proportional look. Liposuction can improve your appearance and boost your self-esteem. In the traditional method of liposuction, an incision is made near the treatment area. Then the surgeon inserts a thin metal tube called a cannula and manually moves it back and forth to break up the fat, which is then vacuumed out. Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery also specializes in other methods of liposuction including microliposuction, tumescent liposuction, ultrasound assisted-liposuction, and power-assisted liposuction.

Tummy Tuck

A tummy tuck reduces the appearance of a protruding abdomen by removing excess fat and skin from the middle and lower abdomen, then tightening the muscles of the abdominal wall. This procedure is designed for those who have been pregnant, lost a significant amount of weight, or who simply through aging, find that they possess a protruding abdomen that is out of proportion to the rest of the body. A tummy tuck can help an individual achieve the appearance of a flatter, firmer stomach. A traditional tummy tuck is available, as well as a "mini" tummy tuck for those primarily dissatisfied with the appearance of their abdomen below the navel. Also, liposuction alone can help improve the appearance of one's abdomen.

Facelift

A facelift can help restore your face to a younger state. As we grow older, factors such as time, stress, sun exposure, and smoking can take its toll on our faces. This procedure can help turn back the clock on an individual's face and reduce the signs of aging. This results in a younger and healthier looking facial appearance. A facelift can help improve an individual's facial appearance by removing excess fat, tightening muscles, and redraping the skin. Recent advancements to the facelift procedure have allowed surgeons to provide very natural results, while avoiding the "windswept" appearance common in facelifts of the past.
